Web accessibility is becoming increasingly important. From June 2025, new standards and guidelines will come into force in accordance with European standard EN 301 549, the implementation of which will be made mandatory by the Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG).

The Reply Co-Pilot for Adobe AEM is a tool developed by Comwrap Reply that, among other things, sustainably improves and guarantees accessibility thanks to the combination of AI with the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). It offers functions and tools that help editors to precisely implement the requirements of EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG guidelines).

For example, the tool independently identifies potential problems and displays suggested solutions in a site bar in the page editor. This allows AEM editors to check the content they have created directly during page creation and immediately find out whether ARIA labels have been set correctly, whether keyboard navigation is possible, whether alt texts have been set to ensure that visual content is accessible for visually impaired users and much more.

AEM, especially in combination with the Adobe Core Components, provides a solid basis for creating accessible websites. These components are already designed to comply with the WCAG guidelines and also support developers in the creation of accessible content. By combining Co-Pilot with the Adobe Core Components, companies can ensure that their online presence is accessible to all users and complies with legal requirements.

Overall, the Adobe AEM Reply Co-Pilot is a valuable tool for improving the accessibility of your website. By implementing accessible design and development practices, organizations can not only comply with legal regulations, but also improve the user experience for everyone.

We are happy to support you in making your online presence accessible.
